Data Deletion Policy Upon Account Closure
This Data Deletion Policy is a fundamental part of our commitment to protect the privacy and security of our users' personal information. It outlines the procedures and conditions under which all data associated with a user's account will be permanently deleted from our systems upon closure of their account.
An account is considered closed when a user explicitly requests its termination through our app's settings, or by contacting our support team. Account closure is irreversible.
Upon closure of an account, all data associated with that account will be queued for deletion from our active databases. This process includes, but is not limited to, personal information, usage data, and any other data collected during the usage of the app.
The actual deletion of data will occur within 30 days of account closure. This timeframe allows us to process the closure request and ensure that all related data is identified and queued for deletion.
Data also stored in backups will be marked for deletion. These backups are purged in regular cycles, ensuring that the data is permanently deleted within 90 days of account closure.
There may be legal or regulatory requirements that necessitate the retention of certain types of data for a specific period even after account closure. In such cases, this data will be retained in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
Upon successful deletion of all data, an email confirmation will be sent to the user's registered email address, confirming the completion of the data deletion process.
